*eligibility: Services are for children and adolescents, ages 4-21, who are at risk of being removed from their home or community due to a mental health concern

*purpose: VHBC is an intensive in-home, family-focused outreach program providing unconditional support through direct, intensive in-home services to individuals who are at risk of an out-of-home placement due to mental or substance abuse issues. The goal of intensive in-home services is to prevent out-of-home placement and reunite families. We provide services in the home between 5 to 10 hours per week.

*services: VHBC provides assessments, crisis intervention and treatment, individual and family counseling, life skills training, therapeutic parenting techniques, communication and relationship enhancement, individualized case management, 24-hour emergency response. VHBC assists families dealing with children with mental and behavioral issues such as ADHD, PTSD, depression, autism, suicidal ideations, panic disorders, oppositional defiance disorder, anxiety, etc.

*Mental Health Skill Building for adults 18+
