Mental Health America of Fredericksburg seeks to create an awareness of mental health and well-being through the practice of yoga and to promote peace and harmony in the world. Join your community and Fredericksburg’s best yoga instructors for Yoga in the Park.
All levels of yoga experience are welcome. Instructors will gently guide you throughout the session by demonstration and one-on-one assistance. Just bring a mat or towel!

Yoga in the Park Instructors
Meet the instructors that will guide the meditation and yoga exercises for 2019 Yoga in the Park.
Takisha August teaches yoga and meditation, is a holistic health coach, speaker and postpartum doula and has been practicing yoga since 2004.
Theresa Goad teaches both Vinyasa Flow and Foundations of Yoga classes with an emphasis on alignment and core strength for all levels of practitioners.
Michael completed the 200-Hour Certified Integral Hatha Yoga Teacher Training at the Yogaville. He will be playing his Native American flute before our yoga practice.
Lauren is a Fredericksburg grown instructor, studying and teaching at Art of Balance Yoga. In 2018 she earned her RYT 500.
Linda Osorio is the founder and owner of Stafford House of Yoga as well as an active yoga teacher. Certification: RYT 500- Yax Yoga Concepts
