Mental Health Resources Library

MHAF provides a lending library of videos, cassettes, books, training modules and educational literature to assist individuals and family members in understanding mental health issues.

Depression, Anxiety & Bipolar Support Group

MHAF sponsors a weekly support group for adults with mental health needs that meets every Tuesday from 7-8:45 pm at Snowden at Fredericksburg (across from Mary Washington Hospital)

Survivors of Suicide Support Group 

MHAF sponsors a support group for those who have lost a loved one to suicide that meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday each month at 7:00pm at Fredericksburg Baptist Church in downtown Fredericksburg.

Recovery in Motion Peer & Advocacy Support Group 

MHAF supports a peer support group for adults with mental health conditions who have completed WRAP training and believe recovery is possible.

Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP)  

MHAF sponsors WRAP training - an 8-9 week course faciliated by peers with "lived experience" to assist individuals in the development of a wellness toolkit by identifying triggers and symptoms, and constructing an action plan to stay well.  To enroll in WRAP or for more information, call MHAF at 371-2704 or email mhafred@mhafred.org. Community Connections Directory
